Improved document management

This fiscal year, HISPASAT successfully launched SharePoint, a new tool for improving document management.

This business collaboration tool has process administration and search modules, with a document administration platform. The use of SharePoint and its capacity to share documents is designed to promote group work across different areas of the business, to promote productivity and as such, to improve efficiency. SharePoint will be furthermore implemented alongside the company’s document digitalisation program, which was implemented throughout 2014. The new tool will provide more agile management, in addition to being sustainable, providing document security and contributing towards better use of resources and removes the need for areas traditionally used for paper storage.
