The Spanish satellite operator, in collaboration with Cellnex Telecom, distributes the signals of Atresmedia's international channels in HD.

HISPASAT maintains its leadership role in the distribution of content in Spanish and Portuguese across the Americas.

Spanish telecommunications satellite operator HISPASAT, in collaboration with Cellnex Telecom, has expanded the number of Atresmedia television channels it currently distributes across the American continent through its Hispasat 30W-5 satellite.

In addition to the channel Antena 3 Internacional, which HISPASAT has broadcast since 2002 in SD (Standard Definition), it will now broadcast the channels Hola TV and Atreseries Internacional. These three international channels are currently distributed in HD format (High Definition).

Cellnex Telecom is responsible for receiving the three Atresmedia Internacional signals, as well as for the satellite uplink.

HISPASAT business director Ignacio Sanchis pointed out that the Spanish operator has collaborated with Atresmedia for many years and is “thrilled to add new, high-quality channels, which is perfectly in line with our strategy to distribute the best content in Spanish and Portuguese, and maintain our leadership role in providing services in these languages across the American content, especially in Latin America.”
