The satellite operator reinforces its leadership position in Ultra High Definition TV (UHDTV) technology and will display its Hispasat 4K channel at the fair.
Spanish satellite communications operator HISPASAT will present its latest innovations for the audiovisual market at the 2016 NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) Show, the sector’s most important trade fair, held in Las Vegas from 18-21 April.
At its stand (SU11613), the company will be demonstrating new contents on its Ultra High Definition TV channel “Hispasat 4K”, broadcast free-to-air in Europe through its Hispasat 30W-5 satellite and across North and Central America via its Amazonas 2 satellite. Over the last several months HISPASAT has been including in its channel several short films selected from the finalists and winning films of the Hispasat 4K International Film Festival, an event organised by the company in 2015 that proved highly successful as a way to promote the creation of content in 4K format.
So, the Spanish operator has strengthened its position as a pioneer in the distribution of content in Ultra High Definition, once again demonstrating its commitment to remain at the cutting edge of audiovisual technology.
Each year the Las Vegas NAB Show brings together over 90,000 media and entertainment professionals from some 160 countries to debate and present on the latest technological innovations, particularly in the world of television and Internet.
