system occupation

In 2014, the average annual allocation of the system's permanent capacity, in other words the total capacity minus the capacity employed for occasional use and capacity not assigned to any client, went from 73% to 76.3% at 30º West (Hispasat satellites 1D and 1E, excluding the Ka-band transponder), and from 87.3% to 88.8% at 61º West (Amazonas 2, Amazonas 3 and Amazonas 4A). The increase in the latter orbital position is due to the Amazonas 4A satellite beginning to operate. Additionally, satellites Hispasat 1C and Amazonas 1 have been relocated to new positions, 84º West and 55.5º West, respectively, where they are currently providing service.
