In the HISPASAT Group, our commitment to ethics and compliance is a fundamental pillar of our daily activity and our relationships with our stakeholders.
The essence of our values always stresses integrity in transparent, coherent and honest conduct by following the commitments we have made, respecting the people with whom we share our challenges and goals through fair and honest treatment by promoting the diversity and plurality of opinions, and sustainability by contributing to creating value together with our stakeholders, while acting on the basis of responsibility and excellence in our efforts towards social development and environmental improvement.
The main objective of everyone who forms part of the Group is to act with utmost honesty and transparency so that we can earn trust in our relationships with third parties and contribute to maintaining the excellent reputation and image of the HISPASAT Group.
Within this framework of action, in July 2020 HISPASAT joined the Code of Ethics and Conduct of the Red Eléctrica Group (GRE), the cornerstone for understanding and enhancing our commitment to ethical values, principles and behavioural guidelines that must govern our professional activity within the organisation.
As part of the Code, the Group makes an Ethics and Compliance Channel available to all the members of the Group as well as our stakeholders. Individuals can use this Channel to make queries about how to interpret the code and suggest improvements, as well as report any breach of the Code.
This Channel is shared by the entire Group and it is administered by the Ethics Manager at GRE who will address and reply to the queries and process and hear any complaints received through this channel. This individual will maintain strict confidentiality of the processes and will be responsible for developing, solidifying and continually improving the management of ethical issues within the Group.
