On 23 October, Hispasat held the closing ceremony for the 6th Edition of the Hispasat Satellite Innovation Days with the event that took place in Buenos Aires. This 6th edition was a success for Hispasat in all the regions where the company operates, with the visitors expressing their satisfaction with the event.
Hispasat invited more than 120 partners and clients in Buenos Aires to debate the future of multimedia content consumption and the satellite capacity required to respond to the growing demand for connectivity in Latin America. This meeting, a record number of guests for this forum, concluded this series of sector-wide events which have taken place this year in London, Rabat, Mexico, Milan, Rio de Janeiro and Bogotá.
The event featured presentations by members of Hispasat and Hispamar including Sergio Chaves (Business Director of South America of Hispamar), Anat Procianoy (Sales Director of South America – the Southern Cone of Hispamar) and Jorge Rodríguez (Marketing Director of Hispasat); the event was divided into thematic panels focused on issues such as the multimedia market, Ka band HTS in Latin America, satellite backhaul and mobility. Executives from companies such as the Disney Channel, AMC, Telefónica Media Networks, Gilat, Claro, Telespazio and i-Direct all participated in the event.
Higher figures for the 6th Edition compared to 2017. A total of 7 events have been held in the main cities in 7 different countries: London, Rabat, Mexico, D.F., Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá and Buenos Aires.
The total number of visitors to the events this year as reached more than 560, and we were been fortunate to feature the participation of more than 130 internationally renowned speakers from the sector.
